the \nCzech Republic and the Czech Academy of Sciences. Its main goals are \noperation and development of the Czech National and Research Educational\n Network, research and development of advanced network technologies and \napplications and broadening of the public knowledge about the advanced \nnetworking topics.<\/span><\/p><p><span>CESNET research background covers \nnetwork monitoring, traffic analysis, attack mitigation, incident \nhandling, security event sharing to digital forensics. CESNET operates \nCESNET-CERT with long-lasting cooperation with the CSIRT.CZ CZ (National\n CSIRT of the Czech Republic) and the Governmental CERT &#8211; GovCERT.CZ &#8211; \noperated by National Cyber and Information Security Agency of the Czech \nRepublic.<\/span><\/p><p><span>CESNET role in the project is double fold \u2013\n to develop fast processing tools and adapt sharing mechanisms to enable\n sharing of machine learning models as IOCs and incident handling \nplaybooks, and its second role is to evaluate and demonstrate the \ndeveloped results using relevant data and environments. CESNET expects \nby participating in the project that it will enhance its cybersecurity \nresearch and development agenda to be able to address cybersecurity \nchallenges in a joint project with players of various competencies that \nare complementary to its expertise.
